We all know that slotting, in the long run, is a losing proposition. It's great we have some folks on the board who post lots of wins, but there must be losing days, too. So, I thought I could provide a dose of reality! Hey, if it was so easy to win, all the casinos would be outta business!

My last 2 Vegas trips have been losers. -$4500 at Ballys/Cosmo (4/5 - 4/8) and -$5000 at Mandalay Bay (4/18 - 4/22).

At the Mandalay Bay trip, I hit $1500 at Mandalay, $1250 at MGM Grand and $1209 and $1476 at Aria. I only captured 2 of these jackpots in pics because when I was playing at Aria, it was 8 hours into the day and my dumb Droid Charge phone battery died. Despite hitting these $5418 in handpays, I was never up on the trip and I lost that $5418 plus $5000 of my own bankroll for a total loss over $10,000.

I was pleasantly surprised with the room accommodations at Ballys, having only stayed at MGM properties, I'd heard CET was not as nice..but here's the room and it was comfortable and quiet and if I craned my neck to the right, I could see part of the Bellagio fountains!

I also hit about $1000 on something at Caesars high limit room and got the name of a host there, so that was a good thing.
Overall, I earned about 11,000 points from CET on this trip and am pretty close to hitting Diamond status (not that that really means anything).
The highlight of the trip was my first time eating breakfast, well, lunch, it was afternoon, at Mon Ami Gabi!:

My last night I went over to Cosmo and played and played and played! I only lost about $300 at Cosmo and got some great play, which is surprising, because Cosmo is usually the tightest of tight!
